Things You Should Know
Ephedra vs Clenbuterol
While these two fat burners may have similar effects, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any differences. In fact, there are several key differences that separate these two.
Each one has its own unique benefits. Let’s begin dissecting these two to see exactly what makes them so similar and where the differences really lie.
Drug Versus Supplement
Perhaps this is one of the biggest differences between these two products. While ephedra comes from plants and is considered a supplement, clenbuterol is a drug. Also, clenbuterol has never been banned in the United States.
It is still available in many places; some of these may include your local animal care store. Actually, that brings me to what clenbuterol is used for. Once you know that, you will see where the similarities between these two substances begin.
Both of these chemicals have a common unique property. They are both bronchodilators. A bronchodilator is anything that makes your body open your airway. Since both of these ingredients possess that unique property they are used in various parts of the world to treat asthma.
However, in the United States neither of these substances is approved for use in humans. This may be partially due to the fact that many people abuse these stimulants. Misuse of these compounds can lead to side effects.
Dangers of Clen
Although some people use clen for weight loss, it is much more dangerous then it’s supplement cousin. One reason for this is the long time span that it remains in your body. Generally, someone trying to lose weight would take it every day. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem.
However, in this case it is. Considering the fact that clen remains active in the body for somewhere between 36 and 48 hours, it is very easy to overdose. Once you overdose you may as well check yourself into the hospital because you’re probably going to have a heart attack. This happens more often than most people will admit. Since I want to see everyone lose weight and feel good about themselves safely I do have to recommend that you avoid this drug.
The Safer Solution
Since ephedrine comes from a plant it is active in the body for a much shorter time than its cousin clen. This makes it much harder to overdose. Although, it is worth noting that when taken properly overdosing should not be much of a concern.
One thing that these two substances have in common is the way that they affect your nervous system. They are both very powerful stimulants. Some people are bothered by this, others seem to enjoy it. In my experience, it seems that more people enjoy the effects of these stimulants. Chances are if you like coffee then you will like the effects. The more you like coffee and the buzz you can get from it the higher your chances are of liking them.
Strength and Muscle
Since these are not just any ordinary stimulants, both of them affect your nervous system enough to give you a temporary increase in strength. This is more pronounced in people who do not use stimulants often. Both of them also help you to keep your lean muscle tissue while dieting. That is because both of these are in a class of substances classified as anti-catabolics. That just means that they keep your body from breaking down muscle tissue or at least slow down the process. Losing muscle tissue is a concern when dieting because your body, by instinct, will try to break down its own muscle before it tries to feed off fat cells for energy.
While both of these compounds may be very powerful fat burners there is a clear winner here. Ephedra is just as effective if not more so in some cases and is also safer. Products containing it always include directions on how to take it. This helps to avoid any unnecessary accidents.
That is one of my goals as well. How will you enjoy being fit and looking great if you have to worry about your heart giving out with your next cup of coffee? To keep things simple stick with ephedra.
